History
We are located in The Bank of Biltmore Building, ca. 1900 of Biltmore Village. The building was designed by Richard Sharp Smith, well known for designing the Biltmore Estate. The building was turned 90 degrees on its foundation in 1928, to accommodate the building of the new Biltmore-Oteen Bank.
The building has been owned by the same family, under various corporate entities, since 1944. Over the years the building has had various commercial tenants. It was the Biltmore Beauty Shop (1935-1943) then the Biltmore Shoe Shop (1944-2004) when two hurricanes caused significant damage from the floods.
It remained vacant for several years, due to foundation damage and extensive interior water damage. In 2007 an intensive renovation project began. It was completed in May of 2008, when the property was leased to this exciting new boutique.
The Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County awarded the
Griffin Award
to the owners for their outstanding contribution and the Commercial Rehabilitation of the property.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
For whatever reason- the CyberMap wizards have not seen fit to correct (after several attempts on my part) my "location" indicators on their digital maps. You will arrive in Biltmore Village- but not at my store.
Please call the number above and we will be happy to direct you.
